Fundraisers

Our fundraiser time is approaching.

Meeting with Rafael Costa and the Portuguese Club of Mineola, NY this weekend to talk about doing a fundraiser in January.

Also a big thanks to Siobhan O'Keefe who is going to represent STEP UP OLPC at January's VOICES event.

If you're interested in hosting a fundraiser or just baking some cookies and raising a few bucks for us, please let me know. Donations are tax-deductible-- even better!

A slow process on the Taiwanese Embassy front. Might be best to just give them a phone call today or tomorrow. Otherwise I am afraid of what will happen (or not happen)...

Now to make a press packet that can be used to publicize and fundraise for STEP UP OLPC in my absence.

In the meantime, looking for funding that can get me over there once again this summer/fall. Any thoughts on getting about $2,000 to do that would be much appreciated.
